ANZAC Day 2015 Diamond Creek combined schools ceremony
A small group of cars made it to Diamond Creek Primary during the week, to share the 100 year anniversary of ANZAC day.
After meeting for a coffee, with free donuts for breakfast, we made our way down to the school, and parked pride of place on the oval.
At 10 am, the official ceremony started inside the stadium.
A video presentation by the students on the significance of ANZAC day was followed up with singing, wreath laying, and speeches.
Then it was out to see our cars, the emergency services display and Military vehicle display.
Those of us that attended were given food, drinks and a souvenir coin that had been struck to commemorate the day. We all feel honoured to have been part of a very moving day.
